Sports at Abbotsford

Sport is one of our greatest strengths and we believe all children should regularly particpate in a variety of sporting activities. Your child will have the opportunity to represent the school and appear for Abbotsford in matches and competitions appropriate for their ability.

Within school, interhouse matches are keenly contested and our sports teams have achieved numerous successes including representing Trafford across Manchester in rugby, hockey and gymnastics.

In addition to the core curriculum activities in PE, additional after-school clubs provide an outlet for sporting interests including football, rugby and netball.

Our links with Lancashire County Cricket Club also mean that we are able to offer your child a high level of instruction from club coaches.
