All the children enjoyed celebrating Australia Day by dressing in the colours of the Australian Flag and also helped towards the dreadful bush fire crisis by donating to the fund. Year 1 enjoyed learning about Australia and were very excited that Jarvis had a hat just like the Platypus in the story, 'Wombat Stew, whilst Aaron in Year 6 was lucky enough to spend Christmas and New Year in Australia and therefore was able to talk to the children about his adventures in Australia when we celebrated Australia Day on Monday.
