In order to support the history topic Mr Cassidy took the lower juniors to visit a replica of an Ancient Egyptian Tomb which he created under the school! 

In this topic, the lower Juniors looked at various objects which famed archaeologist Howard Carter would have found in the tomb in 1922. Items such as chariots, jewellery, golden thrones and finally, the remains of Egyptian Pharoah Tutankhamun.  These were all dream artifacts which made the whole World interested in Egypt again.

They then were able to create newspaper articles and work based on this wonderful find.
