It's been another busy start to the new school year this week at Abbotsford. The children have all settled beautifully into their new classrooms and are getting to know their new teachers and class routines. We welcome several new families to preschool and other year groups. We also welcome Mrs Blackburn back to Abbotsford and two new members of staff; Miss Robertson as a teaching assistant in year 1 and Miss Odling into the School office. 
The children have been enjoying all the extra space we now have in our newly refurbished playground and court area. 
We have several exciting events planned in the coming weeks. Monday sees the arrival of the Book Bus to our school playground, on Thursday we welcome parents for our annual Meet the Teacher evening and we have a school BBQ to celebrate the new school playground on Sunday 24th September.

The staff and pupils are looking forward to another 'outstanding' year.
