Year 4 enjoyed their trip to the Buddhist Centre this week. In this beautifully restored building, they revisited their learning of the story of Buddha as they sat in the shrine room.  They also gained an interesting insight into the importance of his teachings in the daily lives of Buddhists living in Manchester today. Many of the children particularly enjoyed the guided meditation which left them feeling calm and relaxed at the end of the visit.
