Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a hard-working Kitchen Assistant to join our ‘Excellent’ school!

About the Role and You

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Head Cook in the preparation of food and beverages and cooking meals
• Maintaining safe and hygienic working practices at all times.
• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of vegetables and salads for serving at mealtimes.
• Assisting with general washing up, plus any weekly cleaning that is required.
• To help serve dinners and help with the clearing up.
• Assist with the smooth running of the Kitchen and ordering etc.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience of working within a busy kitchen.
• Has a basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Has strong organisational skills.
• Is flexible and adaptable.
• Is a keen team player.
